How much does a website cost in 2026? What really drives the price

How much does a website cost in 2026? What really drives the price

Two quotes for the same website can differ several times over. We show what makes up the price and how to compare offers so you do not overpay - or buy a website you will have to rebuild in a year.

"How much does a website cost?" is the first question we hear - and we always give the same answer: it depends on what the website has to do for you. A business card site that simply confirms the company exists is a completely different project from a website that has to deliver enquiries and support sales every month. Two quotes for the same website can differ several times over - and usually both are fair, they just cover different things.

What makes up the price of a website?

Strategy and information architecture

Defining who the website is for, what its goals are, which pages are needed and how to lead the visitor to contact. You do not see this stage, yet it decides how effective the whole project will be.

UX/UI design

A bespoke look instead of a ready-made template, refined separately for desktop and mobile. The design covers the content layout, the look of the elements and how the visitor moves around the website.

Content

Sales copy, service descriptions, photos and case studies. Good content can decide whether a website brings enquiries - read 7 rules of UX writing.

Development

Coding, an admin panel for editing content, forms, multiple languages, integrations with other tools. The more features, the more work.

SEO and performance

Loading speed, a correct heading structure, meta data, a sitemap and redirects from old addresses. This is the foundation for visibility in Google.

Care after launch

Updates, backups, monitoring and development. A website is not a one-off expense - it is worth planning technical care from the start.

Rough price ranges

You will find very different prices on the market. The simplest landing pages on ready-made templates start at a few thousand zloty. Company websites with a bespoke design, a dozen or so pages and an editing panel usually cost in the low tens of thousands. Large websites, multilingual sites and online stores start at several tens of thousands.

The cheapest offers usually save on what you cannot see at first glance: strategy, content, performance and security. The result is a website that has to be rebuilt after a year.

How to compare offers?

  • check whether the quote includes a bespoke design or a ready-made theme
  • ask who will prepare the content and photos
  • make sure you get a convenient panel and training in editing
  • ask about SEO at launch: speed, structure, redirects
  • ask what happens after publication: warranty, care, development
  • ask for projects from a similar industry - for example our website and store case studies

What affects the price most?

  • the number of unique page templates
  • the number of languages
  • custom features: bookings, configurators, client areas
  • integrations with external systems
  • content preparation and a photo shoot
  • the deadline

Website or online store?

If you want to sell online, the cost grows by the store elements: the product catalogue, the cart, payments, shipping and integrations. You can read how to plan such a project on the online stores page.

Summary

A good website is an investment that should pay for itself. That is why, before we give a price, we ask about your goals, your competitors and how you win customers today. That way the quote covers exactly what you need - without overpaying for unnecessary features and without cutting corners on what matters most.

Frequently asked questions

Can a website be built in stages?

Yes. We often start with the most important pages and add further features as the business grows.

How long does it take to build a website?

A company website with a bespoke design usually takes a few weeks. We agree the exact schedule once we know the scope.

How can I find out the price of my website?

Fill in the short project quote form or use the website configurator. We reply within one working day.
